JESSICA WOLF established the Alexander Technique program at Yale School of Drama in 1998.

After receiving her BFA from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, Jessica trained at the American Center of the Alexander Technique and was certified as a teacher in 1977. Her Alexander studies continued in London. She has had a private practice in NYC for over three decades. In 1981, Jessica completed her certification as a Laban Movement Analysis. Jessica had a 20 year mentoring relationship with Carl Stough, the man responsible for a seminal breathing coordination discovery.

In 2002, Jessica founded and became the director of the post-graduate training program in the U.S called 'The Art of Breathing.' She has certified almost 50 Alexander teachers from all over the country. Her faculty appointments include The Juilliard School, Circle in the Square, SUNY Purchase, Sarah Lawrence, The Aspen Music Festival and The Verbier Music Festival. Jessica travels extensively presenting her work at conferences and giving workshops nationally and internationally. Her writing is included in several collections of books including Breath in Action.
